Royal Conservatoire of scotland

The RCS wanted to establish a means for all students to develop and make rich digital content including short films. We identified what resources and equipment would be needed and ran film master-classes with the
BA Classical & Contemporary Text. The students then self shot and edited 12 films.

We are now in the process of developing online learning resources that can be accessed across the institution.

‘Through these sessions, he was able to equip students with essential skills relating to mobile filmmaking, empowering them to create original digital work with confidence, assuredness and rigour. I can say without hesitation that the technical and creative accomplishment of this work was noticeably enhanced through Felix’s work.

BEARSDEN FESTIVAL

The festival wanted to create a community generated film festival. We developed 3 strands to accommodate this. A Family Film Fun Day, a Weekend Film Challenge (16 -21yrs) and ‘Bearsden Stories’ working with older people within the community.

This led to a red carpet film festival with free Popcorn.

‘It was a fabulous experience for us all as a family and the day was well organised, managed and expertly run. We have since used the skills we learned in other things and so are able to pass on our new knowledge to others in the community.
